Based in Berlin, Dr. Arndt Pechstein, is founder of the boutique consultancy phi360, CEO of The Future Company, and one of Europe’s leading minds in Future Skills, future-readiness, innovation, and transformation. With a PhD in neuroscience and specialist expertise in biomimicry, design thinking, agile transformation, and exponential organizations, he brings together deep scientific knowledge and human-centered creativity to navigate complexity and shape meaningful change.
As creator of the Future Skills Navigator, and initiator of the Hybrid Thinking approach, Arndt works with multinationals, corporates, ministries, and NGOs alike. His mission: empowering people and organizations to stay ahead of the curve in a volatile and fast-changing world and shaping a just, sustainable, and desirable future for humans and the planet.
He supports this mission through keynote talks, strategic consulting, and innovative learning journeys that develop essential future skills like growth mindset, adaptability, and systems thinking. He teaches Future Studies, Responsible Innovation, and Enterprise Agility at leading European universities. He has authored several books on Future Skills in the age of AI and how to navigate transformation in times of uncertainty, offering practical tools and insights to leaders and teams. As a multi-award-winning entrepreneur his transformative work is applied across all sectors.
Arndt is a black belt in various martial arts, passionate breakdancer, climber, outdoor enthusiast, and inventor of the 8-day week. His Credo is: "Don't just be successful, be significant!".
